Part Two: Tag - You're It! (and Award)

Here we have that promised "part two" of my 'tag.' After AnnaKate, Trinka 'tagged' me on her blog and so here are my answers to her questions, some different facts about myself - and yes, I even manged some additional questions (some of which are repeats) and another group of bloggers to 'tag.' (It was a tough one though!) Thanks SO much, Trinka for picking me (and passing on the awards to all those you 'tagged') - you are awesome, girl. Also Ella awarded me with the "irresistibly sweet" award - thank you LOTS, Ella for picking me! Since I am probably going to be all  out of random facts, I am combining the two together - so this should be fun! Okay *fingers ready* and begin..
.
Some random facts
  • I change my Blogger profile pic. often - I've been blogging since August and already I've had probably... oh, five or so (speaking of which... I think it is about time for a new one *wink*)
  • Not only have I loved the writing aspect of blogging but I love to learn about the design aspect of it - it is such fun
  • I recently joined Tumblr
  • I am NOT a football fan
  • Every year, I rent a new movie to watch during the 3-hour plus Super Bowl football game (who are you rooting for?)
  • When all is said and done, my family has about 7 Christmas trees in the house over the holidays (most of them are merely tabletop ones)
  • My family had our "last"Christmas get-together on Saturday
  • I buy way too much scrapbook paper
  • I love Buffalo Wild Wings - their sauce-spun wings are really quite tasty
  • I could almost live on vegetables and salads - but I'd miss a good juicy burger every now and then
  • I am working on a handful of... interesting blog posts. Whether or not, they'll ever be posted is a mystery - and one that I've not decided
  • I watched about thirty minutes of figure skating this past weekend - which is the longest I've watched the sport in a long while
  • My toenails are painted in the color "Right Said Red"
  • I have to make a birthday card (should have it done today but likely won't until tomorrow!), a Texas sheet cake (today) and an "old-fashioned" birthday cake (thank you Duncan Hines and Pillsbury - or whichever one I use *wink*) for tomorrow cause it is my dad's birthday tomorrow (happy birthday, dad!)
I think I am all "random-ed" out now... *grin*

Trinka's eleven questions:
1. Do you like thrift stores? Hmmm... good question, I don't think I've ever been to one.
2. What's your nickname{s}? "Ris," "Issa"
3. Have you given anybody a nickname? If so, what is it? My cousin/sis is Elizabeth and although nearly everyone calls her "Lizzie," I for some reason dubbed her "Liz" (I might have even called her "Fizzy" at one time - don't ask how that came about!), and still to this day call her that
4. Have you ever made scrambled eggs? Yes! And, I like to put salsa and cheese on them
5. pink or purple? Both colors depending on which strikes my fancy
6. hats or scarfs? Both - I bought an adorable hat to go with my peacoat this past autumn
7. Do you like mustaches? Not particularly
8. Do you have a mustache? Gosh, no! LOL
9. Have any {not classic} books to recommend? Hmmm... I have oh-so-many swirling around in my head (and I read a TON)... Tracie Peterson is an awesome author (reading her "Striking a Match" series now); anything Jenny B. Jones is awesome (loved There You'll Find Me); Heiress by Susan May Warren; Dee Henderson books
10. Do you sleep with your socks on or off? Both - during the summer months, no; the winter, yes
11. Who do you love the most? Why, my wonderful family, of course *smile*

My EIGHT questions (because I just did one of these, I lessened the amount):
  1. What are your views on modern fashion, and how do you define modesty?
  2. What did 2011 teach you?
  3. What is your favorite movie?
  4. What is your favorite band/artist?
  5. Do you like to cook?
  6. What is something you like to do for fun?
  7. How did you get started Bogging?
  8. What is your favorite thing about Blogging?
Who'd have thought that coming up with random questions could be so... challenging!?
I tag and award
The rules:
1. post these rules.
2. post 11 random things about yourself.
3. answer the questions set for you in their post.
4. create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer.
5. go to their blog and tell them they are tagged.
6. tag 11 people.

The next couple days will find Charles Dickens featured here at Scribbles, Scripts and Such - so all you Dickens fans, be on the look-out for that.

Trinka - ahhh! Thanks, girl! I am always wondering if I am boring my readers to death. =D

Well... it all depends on how those blog posts turn out - hopefully, I'll feel "okay" enough with them to post them.

    Thanks for tagging me. =)

Sierra - you'll do just fine with your post; I am sure. =) I couldn't believe how "hard" it was to come up with things about myself - but it was!

I just joined tumblr too, but not sure I get it yet. I am kind of slow on the uptake with some of this social media stuff. Yikes.

Not a football fan either. Chick flick time for sure when that is on! :))

    I'll repost back this week.

    Cheerio!

  7. Awesome, Jeanine! I'll look forward to your post. =)

We leave our Christmas decorations up til the end of Jan., so it is now time to take everything down - and I am ready for the house to be void of glitter. =)

Tumblr... yeah, it is different but I am figuring it out little by little. (I am not even a member of most social media sites, so you are not alone. ;D)

Love chick flicks - cliches and all. =D

  12. Yay! I must be one of the only nerds that likes answering these sort of things ;)

    1. Do you like thrift stores? LOVE them. Can't pass one up.

    2. What's your nickname{s}? Juju

    3. Have you given anybody a nickname? Oh yah. I LOVE nicknames. My husband and I are kind of addicted to nicknaming things. The dogs have zillions and my daughter's slowly but steadily gaining on them.

    4. Have you ever made scrambled eggs? Of course. I prefer mine with extra cheese.

    5. pink or purple? PINK

    6. hats or scarfs? Definitely both

    7. Do you like mustaches? Ew

    8. Do you have a mustache? LOL don't all gals? Some just have it worse then others and have to wax or bleach.

    9. Have any {not classic} books to recommend? Hunger Games

    10. Do you sleep with your socks on or off? Ditto! Winter yes, Summer no

    11. Who do you love the most? Family for sure

    8 more:

What are your views on modern fashion, and how do you define modesty? I'm an old soul at heart so I only like fashion when it's pulling from history. Modesty is knowing when you're showing enough and that's enough.

What did 2011 teach you? That God's timing is perfect and as hard is that is to trust sometimes, I must.

What is your favorite movie? Rear Window! I love a good mystery.

What is your favorite band/artist? Adele

Do you like to cook? Yes I especially love baking and making sauces.

What is something you like to do for fun? Besides read? Travel

How did you get started Bogging?
My husband suggested I try it back in 2009

What is your favorite thing about Blogging? The connections you make with fellow bloggers

  13. These two "tags" were the first time I did one of these but I had a LOT of fun with it. =D

Loved reading your answers, Juju! Thanks so much for doing it!

(Oooh! Another Hunger Games fans - I am thinking I need to read the book just to find out what all of the fuss is about. ;D)
